For young people
As a young person, you want to keep playing, exploring, being curious, right? Your body is still developing. The interplay of all your intelligences is looking for a way to perform. At school, in sports and, for some, already in business. An important foundation for the rest of your life.
Getting Started
Veelbegaafd coaches top young athletes, pupils, students and young professionals who are gifted, who perform highly in several areas and want to excel in them.
Between the ages of 15 and 24.
The development you go through as a young person lays an important foundation for your future achievements.
For example, have you developed independence, autonomy, creativity and versatility?
Or are you easily dependent on others in your thinking and actions?
Do you feel free to know what is good for you and do that?
Your environment
Is your environment working and moving with your development? Do they have the knowledge, resources and skills to match? Sometimes your feelings, your body, tells you exactly what is needed, but your head does not yet want to do it. And sometimes it’s the other way around. That applies to you, and also to parents/caregivers, teachers, trainers/coaches, physical therapists, managers, et cetera. How do they support you? In the development space, we include both young people and their environment. That development goes step by step in a very dynamic balance. Versatile works with people and resources who seek this balance with you.
Getting acquainted in the development space
An introduction means getting to work. Doing something, in movement, in conversation with each other, to discover together where your talents lie, how the interplay of head and body with all thedifferent intelligences works for you, and to find ways of development that suit you. What space do you need for this? What needs development and which ones? Who can support you in this? And how do we do that at gifted?
Examples
- Een jonge atlete die binnen de ‘gebaande paden’ uit de bocht vliegt. Haar manier van ontwikkelen heeft andere kennis en aandacht nodig. Wij werken vanuit kwaliteiten die door anderen als barrières worden gezien die ‘verholpen’ moeten worden. Een diepgaand inzicht in haar ontwikkeling van baby, peuter, kleuter, kind, tiener tot jong volwassene verandert de aanpak en daarmee de oefeningen en de resultaten.
- Een jonge sporter die op vele terreinen zich ontwikkelt naar een hoog niveau, zich snel verveeld en internationaal sport en studeert. Hij bouwt vertrouwen op in verschillende omgevingen en oefeningen. Hij wordt gekoppeld aan leiders uit bedrijfsleven en onderwijs/onderzoek voor een gesprek. In een podcast-leergesprek wordt hierop terug- en vooruitgekeken.
- A young high school student, highly intelligent and versatile, wants to be challenged. We bring him together with other gifted young people in a meeting where they get to know each other and each other’s talents. They get to work on challenging issues that have strategic value for innovative companies that see the importance of innovation, technology and versatile people who want to excel.
